How to Keep TikTok, Instagram and YouTube Saves Together
Updated November 2026 · By the Bookmark team
A recipe on TikTok. A hotel on Instagram. A tutorial on YouTube. Each app has its own saved list, and none of them talk to each other. So when you want "that thing I saw", you first have to remember which app it was in.
What each app gives you
- Instagram: Saved, with private collections.
- TikTok: Favorites, with collections you can name yourself.
- YouTube: Watch Later and your own playlists.
All three work fine alone. The trouble starts when you use more than one, which most of us do.
Option 1: send everything to yourself
Messaging links to yourself is free and quick, and it works from every app. But a chat is a timeline, not a library. Links pile up with no names, and searching only works if the words you remember are in the message.
Option 2: a notes app
A single note per topic ("Recipes", "Japan trip") works well. It takes a little more effort for each save, as you have to open the note and paste the link, but you can search it. Most people stop keeping it up after a few weeks.
Option 3: a dedicated saving app
A saving app shows up in your phone's share sheet, so every app can send to it in the same way. That is what makes it work: one habit, instead of one per app. When comparing apps, ask:
- Does it work well on your phone, not just in a desktop browser?
- Can it hold photos, screenshots and PDFs, not only links?
- Can you find things without filing them first?
- Can you export everything if you leave?
What we are building
Bookmark is our answer to those questions. Tap Share in any app, and your save lands in one library with a clear AI-written name. For YouTube links and videos shared from Photos, it also writes a short recap. For Instagram and TikTok links, a quick note gives search more to work with.
You saved it. Now find it.
